If I take Sprintec birth control and get my period on the last white pill do I continue my next dose

i was on the depo shot for a long time.. I just switched to sprintec pills. I take everyday. I haven't had my period in years. My doctor told me to take it right away and so I did, even though I didn't know when I would get my period, but I wasn't pregnant so I was ok. I just got my period on the last white pill and don't know if I should continue to my next dose for the "new month"
